Who are we?
Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, 1st Fire Solutions Ltd provides fire protection to businesses and homes through Fire Risk Assessments, training, and the supply, installation and servicing of fire safety equipment. All your fire protection needs from one company.

What you need to know
In order to comply with your obligations under the new Regulatory Reform
(Fire Safety) Order 2005, any contractors to whom you delegate
responsibility for any aspect of fire safety should be competent. The
Approved Code of Practice to support the Management of Health and Safety
at Work Regulations 1999 states "Employers are solely responsible
for ensuring that those they appoint to assist them with health and
safety measures are competent to carry out the tasks they are assigned."
How, in practical terms, can you ensure the competency of the contractors
you use? The most effective way to do this is to use a company who are
third party certified, or ask for proof of the specific fire safety
qualifications of the contractor.
Why use us?
The only nationally recognised 'Independent Third Party Quality Scheme' for
companies undertaking the supply, installation and ongoing maintenance of
portable fire fighting equipment is BAFE SP101/ST104. 1st Fire Solutions
Ltd is one of only three Gloucestershire based companies that are BAFE
certified under this scheme (www.bafe.org.uk).
We are happy to supply proof of competency for all work we undertake. You
can have peace of mind that we are covered by comprehensive public liability
and professional indemnity insurance for all work carried out and
professional advice given.
